Katherine Murdock is a freelance curator and artist working in New Jersey and New York. She was Curator-in Residence at Trestle Projects, Brooklyn, NY for a year. For seven years, she was the Assistant Curator at the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey which is one of the largest public institutions in New Jersey devoted exclusively to contemporary art. She has managed over thirty curated group and solo exhibitions and organized over 60 community art exhibitions for the Art Center. Curating shows at Trestle's other location, Trestle Gallery, Brooklyn, NY; Gallery at 14 Maple headquarters of Morris Arts and the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, Morristown, NJ; and Village West Gallery, Jersey City, NJ. Murdock received her BA from Drew University, Madison, NJ.
